Sourcing scope
Vegetable Oil: coordinated sourcing for qualified buyers
XTO GROUP INC does not refine, own or store oil. XTO reviews the buyer's refining and packaging specification, qualifies suppliers against it and coordinates the commercial structure of the transaction. Sunflower, soybean, palm and blended oils are handled as separate requirements, each with its own analysis and certification expectations.
Buyer requirements
- Registered commercial entity with verifiable trade references.
- Defined oil type, refining level and packaging format.
- Destination-market food-safety, labelling and certification requirements.
- Realistic programme volume and delivery window.
- Acceptance of documented Incoterms and a bank-verified payment structure.
Commercial information required to review a requirement
- Specification
- Oil type, crude or RBD refining level, free fatty acid, peroxide value, colour, moisture and any non-GMO or certification requirement.
- Packaging
- PET bottles with carton configuration, 20 L jerrycans, 190 kg drums, flexitank or bulk, including label responsibility.
- Quantity
- Trial volume and monthly programme volume in litres or tonnes.
- Origin
- Acceptable refining origins and any origin restrictions.
- Destination
- Discharge port or delivery point and appointed customs broker.
- Timing
- First shipment window and shipment cadence thereafter.
- Incoterm
- FOB, CFR, CIF or DAP as required.
- Payment terms
- Proposed instrument and issuing bank for a documented payment structure.
Documentation and logistics
XTO coordinates commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, certificate of analysis, health or free-sale certification and tank or flexitank documentation where applicable, and coordinates shipment scheduling with the carriers and inspection bodies appointed by the parties. XTO does not operate transport, tank or warehouse assets.
